Job description:
The main duties of the successful candidate will be:
- Manage accounting tasks
- Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with the planned time schedule
- Gather, track, analyze and present summarized accounting information
- Calculate taxes and tax returns; Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to tax, accounting, labor, etc.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant
- BA in Accounting or similar relevant field
- Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles, as well as International finance reporting standards
- Experience with accounting software (1C, SAP, etc.)
- Experience in FMCG & Retail industry would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail; A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the project’s success
- Good time-management, interpersonal and communication skills
