Main duties:

  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
  • Preparing the schedules, hiring, termination, vacation, business trip, etc. drawing up orders
  • Conducting documentation works in accordance with the Labor Legislation and ƏMAS System
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed – contracts, orders, etc.
  • Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
  • Tracking new applicant, design job postings, conduct screening, phone interviews, notify candidates on the status of the interview process
  • Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks
  • Tracking employees’ attendance records
  • Tracking employees’ vacation balances
  • Compiling reports on employees, determining employee turnover and its causes, preparing, and implementing measures to eliminate turnover
  • Creating a database of employees,
  • Proceeding with internal communications, sharing with employees any internal news and updates, introducing innovations and changes
  • Compiling and submitting relevant reports to the human resources department and hotel management

Candidate requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), MS Office programs – especially in Excel
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English languages
  • Familiarity with full cycle recruiting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good problem-solving and team management skills
