AR branch of “Karabakh Operating Company” (KOC) is looking for Welding Inspector. The KOC was registered in Azerbaijan on the 13 May 2019. KOC is an operator of the Karabakh project on behalf of SOCAR Karabakh LLC and was created for the purpose of managing the field development activities. The company currently operates the engineering and construction phases of the Karabakh offshore platform and subsea pipelines.
Location: Office Based
Welding Inspector
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Third party to welding and NDT activities
- Review As-Built documentation packages
- Filing and retain NDT reports and inspection reports
- Prepare the welder performance
- Prepare the weekly and monthly report
- Issuance NCR and follow up for corrective action
- Ensure the QC tools and NDT equipment are calibrated and certificates available
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; Previous experience in structural steel
- CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector) or AWS QC1 (CWI)
- Welding processes, standards (ISO9000, AWS D1.1, EEMUA 158)
- English, Azerbaijanian – upper intermediate
- Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
- Internal Audit qualification
- External Audit (preferred)
- Good presentation and reporting skills
