Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product.
• Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures.
• Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
• Writing up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
• Training the quality assurance staff and providing technical support when needed.
• Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
• Preparing test reports for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or other related studies
• 5+ years of working experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience in programming/scripting and/or (test) automation
• SQL language (query, update, delete, insert)
• One year experience of testing on JIRA platform
• Testing certification (ISTQB or similar) will be a plus
• Good knowledge of testing life cycle process, test techniques and test methodologies
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, MySQL and their functionality
• Experience in a high-tech environment
• Experience in integration of deliverables of multiple development teams
• Experience in defining a test and integration approach and testing complex solutions
• Excellent social and communication skills in English
• Able to work independently
• Strong collaborator enabling the teams to meet their goals
• Pro-active and reach out to all relevant stakeholders within and outside the department
• Ability to take ownership, drive initiatives and challenge others
• Analytical and can set priorities in your day-to-day activities
• Flexible and can take decisions under pressure
• Quality mindset and a strong affinity with testing
