Tax Intern

Responsibilities:

• Assist with tax planning for clients;
• Assist in the preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns;
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of an tax audit;
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of various state and local tax audits including but not limited to sales and use, income, and property;
• Conduct tax research and prepare decision grids in support of projects;
• Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned;
• Duties will vary based on the needs of the firm and the interns training and experience;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/ MS degree in business concentration/Accounting;
• Good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel;
• Strong Working knowledge of Russian and English is preferred; Highly organized and detail oriented; Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy; Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
