Job description:
- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
- Preparation of all statutory reports
- Preparation of payroll and calculation of all related taxes
- Input all transactions in accounting software (1C)
- Maintaining correspondence with Tax and other Authorities as required
- Manage month-end and year-end close process
- Preparation of management reports as required
- Preparation of Project Reports and reconciliation of accounting data
- Performing other daily accounting tasks as per the requirement
Candidate requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting and/or other related business disciplines
- Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijan Tax regulations
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounting procedures and principles
- Strong knowledge of 1 C
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the related filed is required
- Fluency in Azerbaijani (English and Russian is an advantage)
- Professional qualifications are an advantage (such as ACCA, CIMA)
- Solid knowledge and working experience of MS Office Programs-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (advanced Excel is an advantage)
- Good team player
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines
- Problem-solving and decision- making skills
