Job Summary:
The Security Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the security department. He/she ensures the security of the building and safety of the guests and TRYPsters, preventing accidents and incidents and liaising with relevant government agencies. You will protect the hotel assets and guest’s property from theft and damage using an intelligence-led approach to security. You will provide leadership for security guards and maintain a disciplined regime to ensure minimum standards are maintained, while educating other departments on how security is everyone’s responsibility and how you, as a security function, can assist each department. You drive hotel safety drills, planning and executing them, reviewing what went well and what could have been done better and adjusting tactics. You will build, maintain and develop relationships with external partners such as the police, civil defense and other security services.
Education & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience of hotel security
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Fluent English and Azerbaijani Knowledge essential. Good Russian is an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Long hours sometimes required.

- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
- Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
