Job Title: Rig Clerk

Location: Azerbaijan, Offshore Rig

A future potential vacancy has arisen externally for a rotational Rig Clerk as part of the Offshore Business Unit and is available for Azerbaijani citizens only.

The Rig Clerk will report to Rig Superintendent and is responsible not only to carry out all administrative duties generated by rig activity but also to ensure safe & efficient transfer of personnel to / from offshore with close interaction with onshore Logistics.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Liaise with the Human Resources Department for replacements in the event of crew shortages and make sure the crew change file is up to date all the time.
• Liaise with BP well site leader and Rig Superintendent with respect to crew logistics. Allocate beds to Group drilling personnel (including third party) on board and maintain records of it.
• Record all hours worked by each crew member. Fill out on a daily basis the EDRS Drilling Report POB Sheet and any other time sheets as and when required including overtime sheets.
• Book all personnel due to leave the platform on a vessel transfer/helicopter flight liaising with operational and Group support personnel.
• Attend all meetings and additional trainings, as and when required.
• Perform administrative duties as requested by Rig Superintendent (minute meetings etc.).
• Meet all incoming Group personnel and drilling related personnel.
• Maintain files on personnel training, holiday requests and sickness.

Key Skills/Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written Azerbaijani language skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook.
• Leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Low absenteeism records.
• Ability to work within the team.
