Responsibilities:

• Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Installing mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Inspecting and examining equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
• Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts
• Fabricating the parts required during revision, maintenance or alignment of equipment
• Sharpening and maintaining alignment tools
• Keeping detailed and accurate reports and documentation
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other maintenance work on equipment parts
• Ensuring equipment functions properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
• Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
• Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area
• Performing other related duties as assigned=

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience; Red seal experience is a definite asset but not required
• Solid interpersonal skills allowing to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
• Experience using Laser Alignment Tools,
• Ability to work without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to deal with people sensitively and professionally at all times
• Ability to work in a team environment
