The Logistics Specialist supports daily work of the Logistics Function by following processes and procedures related to freight forwarding and customs clearance, and coordinates logistics of goods to and from internal suppliers and / or affiliates.

Qualification:

• Degree and / or qualification in Business Administration or related field
• Evidence of trainings and certifications in related field
• Minimum 4 year experience, preferably in Oil & Gas Sector;
• Working experience of Incoterms (FCA, DAP, DDP, EWX, FOB, etc)
• Practical knowledge of the Customs Code of AR and other relevant legislation
• Understanding of the Trade Compliance basics
• IT literacy, skills in Excel and the ability to handle electronic data
• Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills;
• Good planning and crisis management ability
• Logical and systematic approach to work

Job Description:

• Handling orders towards assigned Freight Forwarders and organizing shipments in line with procedures and selected MOT
• Verifies shipping document packages for all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepared Letters to Customs, End User Statement letters, Tax Exemption Letters and gets required approvals in line with corporate policies
• Maintains balance at BBGI, HNBGI, Energy Resources advance bank accounts and coordinates arrangements of payments based on the pre-calculation summary and pre-alerts
• Maintains Logistics Stats and Progress reporting, as well as regular customs expenses and corporate card reports to Finance, at the established frequency
• Checks and verifies invoices from Freight Forwarding and Customs Agents against rates formalized in frame agreements
• Provides quick and compliant response to all requests related to the job purpose
