Reports to Chief Legal Officer.
Key Accountabilities:
- Draft, review and manage contracts and other legal acts
- Researching and analyzing the law on complex issues and writing briefs for submission to a CLO
- Able to conduct legal research and prepare legal reports, particularly analyzing and summarizing complicated legal documents, including contracts, and suggesting alterations to those documents
- Maintenance of various electronically stored data and hard copies of corporate and commercial information
Desired background:
- General knowledge of law
- Experience in the field of commercial law, real estate law, sales and purchases
- Work experience 3-5 years
- Reviewing and drafting various types of contracts and legal acts in both Azerbaijani and English
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (master degree would be preference)
- 3+ years of experience in law
- Perfect skills of speaking and writing in Azerbaijani and English
- Strong communication skills, particularly clear and concise written communication
- Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents
- Analytical thinker with conceptual and research skills
- Ability for multitasking and meeting deadlines.
