PASHA Bank announces a vacancy for a Junior Legal Specialist / Legal Specialist of Corporate Law Direction in Legal Affairs Division.

Purpose of the position:

• PASHA Bank is looking for legal specialists who can provide high quality and professional legal assistance in all areas of its activities, who are able to deeply analyze new projects in terms of legislation and prudential requirements, and who can help within the law eliminate obstacles to the bank’s activities.

This position requires solid legal knowledge, high analytical thinking, teamwork and communication skills. The most successful candidate will be a person who pays attention to details, has the ability to think about strategic goals and find optimal solutions.

Key responsibilities and skills:

• Carrying out legal analysis and answering incoming inquiries related to the various bank services;
• Preparation of agreements and other legal documents fully protecting rights and interests of the Bank;
• Preparation of draft proposals on improving the regulatory framework related to banking activities;
• Providing legal assistance to foreign employees of the Bank in obtaining work permits;
• Supporting the development, updating and improvement of the Bank’s internal rules, policies and procedures;
• Providing support to bank administrators and other employees in collecting the documents required for appropriate certification;
• Supporting the collection of documents required for registration, licensing and operation of the Bank’s subsidiaries, representative offices, branches and divisions in the
• Republic of Azerbaijan and abroad;
• Providing legal assistance related to application of labor legislation, etc.

Preferred cases:

• Bachelor degree in law
• 3 years for legal specialist/ 1 year for junior legal specialist proven working experience as a lawyer in finance environment;
• Knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures;
• Outstanding communication skills
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani and English languages is a must, Russian language is desirable;
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
