Job duties:
- Develops site architecture, optimizes processes, and supports the brand ecommerce ecosystem;
- To link information online with inventory and logistics teams to efficiently move and monitor merchandise.
- To be responsible for data storage and security
- Ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of an ecommerce platform, including software integrations and merchant and retailer relationships;
- Defines, recommends, and executes a vision for ecommerce sites aligned with IT strategy;
- Understands strengths and weaknesses in system architecture, anticipating vulnerabilities and developing contingency plans; and
- Experience with ecommerce software platforms; and
- Experience with PIM, DAM, MDM, and PXM a plus.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- Database work experience
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, algorithmic knowledge
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team, and problem-solve collaboratively
- Technical level of English language proficiency
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
