Information Security Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor implementation of information security management framework and IT risk management program based on ISO 27001
• Facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
• Ensure consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services
• Raise awareness of risk management concerns
• Ensure that cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all staff and compliance is enforced
• Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested
• Perform incident management of cyber security breaches, including impact analysis
• Perform regular security audits
• Oversee identity and access management
• Provide training and mentoring to team members.
• Report to executive team on cyber security risks and program updates
• Provide Information Security consultancy services to clients and customers as a part of Project or Operational services

Request Skills:

• 5 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity
• Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in software development.

Education and certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other equivalent degree or experience
• Preferred Certifications (CISSP or CISA)

Hours and Environment:

• The working hours are 40 hours a week. However, if there are major problems, like a network fault to be fixed, or there’s major new software to be installed, Network Field Engineer will need to work late or at weekend. This would be necessary, as during normal office hours, IT maintenance can be disruptive to the business. There’s also a possibility of being on call to cover any problems that might occur outside of normal working hours.
