Bureau Veritas Azerbaijan is looking for an IND inspector who will manage the technical aspects of inspection activities to ensure that accreditation criteria are met.
Main Duties:
- Inspects test, or measure materials using gauges, calipers, and micrometers, as well as operating electronic inspection equipment to ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard.
- Monitors inspection operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and witnessing functional tests.
- Reads blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
- Creates reports for the clients and reporting manager of the company to highlight issues
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience in Well Equipment (drilling and completion) is an advantage.
- NDT Conventional techniques knowledge, Weld visual inspection is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or equivalent and field background preferably min 5 years
- Experience in products conformance testing, pressure testing, vendor surveillance is advantage.
- Good command of English
- Good communication skills
