Develops Incoming Tours operational best practices for the hotels, travel agencies, local and international cooperate clients. Define objectives and metrics for success.

  • Networks externally to seek innovation, and actively participates in the local and international community and professional organizations.
  • Works with various teams and in supporting areas to identify customer experience improvement opportunities across the Travel Services platform.
  • Develops and disseminates weekly and/or monthly reports of reimbursements, travel costs, and expense reports to accounting for the processing and charging of appropriate accounts.
  • Dealing with managers of organized travel groups, travel agencies; accepting and forwarding tourists
  • Receiving and processing calls
  • Telephone consultation for clients
  • Dealing with e-mails
  • Calculating the price of tours
  • Leading customers from the moment of calling to returning from tour
  • Searching and booking hotels, transport, museums, public catering points (café, restaurant)
  • Working with railway agencies (booking and preparation of railway tickets)
  • Creating and calculating new tours
  • Managing and filling company’s website (prices, programs)
  • Dealing with contracts of hotels, museums, transport companies
  • Working with guides
  • Promotion and sale of incoming tours;
  • Searching for potential foreign partners in the field of tourism;
  • Responding on timely manner to all the requests from the partners;
  • Negotiation with hotels, transport companies, travel agencies and other local and international partners /clients.
  • Preparation of exclusive tour packages
  • Perform other job related duties as requested.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s and Master degree in one of the appropriate areas to the job requirements
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with distribution systems, central reservation systems, content systems, operations, account management, incoming travel management, Transportation and customer service.
  • Experience in hospitality operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to lead and mentor a team, groups and individuals
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of travel industry concepts, practices, and standards.
  • Typically reports to a Director or Chief Officer.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00-18:00, Saturday 09:00-14:00
  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate in English, Russian and Azerbaijan in written and oral forms.

Technology to be Used:

Advanced User of Personal Computer, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), e-mail, telephone, printer, calculator, copier, cell phones, PDAs and other hand held devices.
