Position in the organizational structure: Attached to the Human Resources department of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), under the supervision of Executive Director and Secretary General of UFAZ.

Starting date: As Soon As Possible

Job Description:

Responsible for the work of the Human Resources Department;

  • Plans, organizes and manages all HR functions for University and participates in developing HR goals, objectives and systems;
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention;
  • Ensures recruitment cycle (job announcement, CV screening, interviews), and keeps active search for talent recruitment on social media and etc;
  • Performs all personnel administration related activities (hiring, termination, promotion, position changes, replacement, etc.) according to the Azerbaijan Labor Code;
  • Ensures that new employees and foreign invited professors are integrated into the organization by arranging meetings with relevant staff and providing informational materials;
  • Coordinates activities on evaluation of the performance of teaching and administrative staff at the end of probation and annually;
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations;
  • Supervises travel arrangements for foreign invited teachers and ensures to handle migration issues of foreign invited teachers;
  • Establishes and maintains organization records and reports;
  • Organizes events such as workshops, trainings for staff developments and teambuilding activities;
  • Conducts exit interviews with each leaving employee and sends feedback to management and etc.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration field;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in Azerbaijani and English languages are required;
  • Strong knowledge of Azerbaijan Labor Code;
  • Proficiency with computing software such as Outlook, MS Office;
  • The ability to focus on details and multitasking;
  • The ability to solve problems commonly found within the higher education environment;
  • Time management skills, the ability to plan his/her time effectively and adhere to the tight deadlines;
  • Strong persuasion and presentation skills;
  • Effective teamwork skills.
