Game UX/UI Designer

We are looking for motivated, curious and enterprising Game UX/UI Designer, to join us at Metafluence. At Metafluence you’ll be sharing your hard-earned knowledge while working within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team of designers, programmers and product managers as you continue to develop your skill set by learning from your teammates.

Responsibilities:

• Concept, plan, and design every element of the user experience including menus, pop-ups, buttons, icons, HUD etc. (complete GUI),
• Work daily with engineering teams to implement designs with consistent and ambitious quality – premium experience,
• Concept and create clickthrough prototypes for new features and improvements (based on design team’s requests),
• Communicate clearly, and articulate the product/feature vision across the company,
• Communicate your UI/UX designs through documentation, mockups, and interactive prototypes,
• Play online games 😉 .

Requirements:

• Ability to brainstorm, create and implement concepts based on the design team’s requests,
• Minimum 1 years as a UX designer, UI designer or similar position,
• A strong passion for video game development,
• Effective communicator and collaborator with developers, designers and leads from other disciplines,
• A natural curiosity for all aspects of game development and a willingness to work on a wide variety of game systems,
• Strong knowledge/proficiency of Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (or alternatives),
• Experience with Unity & Unreal Engine is desirable and will be a big “plus” (experience even at prototyping stage),
• Experience with gaming and entertainment products is desirable.
