Position: A-Level English Teacher

Salary: Hourly rate of pay is negotiable based on experience
- We are looking for an English Teacher with a genuine passion for the subject to join our dedicated and hard-working teaching team. This role will predominantly involve teaching A-Level English language for up to 12 hours per week on a contract basis for one school year.
Professional qualities and experience
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred with specialization in teaching, education or a PGCE diploma from universities in one of the following countries: Australia, Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and USA
- At least two years of teaching experience in A-Level English
- Experience in implementing best practices in subject curriculum and instruction
- Personal qualities associated with good human relations and interpersonal relations
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
The Role:
- Planning and delivery of curriculum and lessons
- Assessments
- Documenting and reporting on each student’s study progress
- Preparing and distributing learning materials
- Motivate learners to raise their ambitions and realise their full potential
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning
