Responsible for visitor orientation to the rope park and climbing walls for ages 3 to adult, provide basic training for safety and proper technique, assist during the experience and monitor safety of visitors as well as handling the proper usage of facility and its` equipment for safe visitor experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Give instructions and prepare guest with safety equipment for their experience.
- Explain principles, techniques, and safety procedures to participants in recreational activities and demonstrate use of materials and equipment.
- Supervise and assist visitors during their experience. Monitor their process and direct them to finish their route safe.
- Control and verify that all facility items and equipment is safe for use.
- Enforce safety rules to prevent injury.
- Ensure the safety of visitors by paying special attention to technique, proper form, and equipment wear and tear.
- Communicate clearly to individuals and groups to explain activity steps, rules and safety instructions to maintain an orderly activity and a safe environment.
- Must be able to work with children, Lead children of all ages, acting as a role model at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- To be physically fit to perform a considerable amount of movement as the job often require demonstration of activities while explaining them.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg.
- Ability to communicate well, give clear instructions, motivate participants, and maintain order and safety.
- Ability to be flexible when planning activities and adapt plans to suit changing environmental conditions and each client’s needs.
- To have strong problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background in working with kids, group leading or teaching experience.
- Certification regarding their previous climbing training and experience.
- Current First Aid certificate.
