Khazar University Dunya IB School seeks full-time and part-time Design Teachers who will be part of the dynamic team.
Requirement:
- English Proficiency level – minimum B2
- Teaching experience in international schools is preferable
- Strong knowledge and/or experience and/or enthusiasm to teach in the IB MYP/DP curriculum framework
- Be inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
- Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Organize classroom lectures and coursework
- Assign homework and interesting exercises
- Determine exam and assignment grades
- Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior
- Perform teacher duties according to schedule
- Exhibit excellent classroom management skills
- Collaborate with colleagues and coordinators in designing/modifying curriculum, creating unit plans and other curruliculum documents
- Collaborate with colleagues and coordinator in conducting assessments aligned with the IB MYP curriculum expectations
- Actively participate in PDs, weekly/bi-weekly meetings, activities/events organized by the school
