Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll be managing the website content creation process, while optimizing for organic search and on-site engagement to increase the internet presence of our company. Not only will you be expected to learn which topics are most relevant for our target audience, but you will then use that knowledge to publish to the highest value opportunities for our business and constantly monitor performance to inform our overall strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Filling the website with new content to provide higher SEO rankings.
- Develop copy on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (such as the website, blogs, articles, and social media).
- Work in a team to implement SEO strategy & roadmap.
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes.
- Support building the right on-page SEO tools.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in our content coverage and areas of opportunity.
- Monitor daily performance of site rankings with a focus on increasing and defending our rankings.
- Create eye-catching and innovative headlines.
- Collaborate with creative team, marketing managers, and designers.
- Coordinate and drive new content, design, and social media.
- Strict adherence to the style guides of our company and policies for publication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field (Preferred)
- English – Upper-Intermediate and higher (must)
- At least 1-2 years of professional writing experience, especially with digital platforms
- Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
- Familiarity with technology and data engineering
- Content marketing: 1+ years (Desired)
- Search Engine Optimization: 1+ years (Desired)
- Editing/Proofreading: 1+ years (Desired)
