Job Responsibilities:

• Provide construction engineering expertise within defined area of responsibility, including day-to-day support to the Construction Manager in delivery of project’s construction objectives
• Provide the main point of contact for project activities. Facilitate construction meetings, and maintain and track actions
• Work with Contractor and sub-contractors to ensure the control of work(CoW) is followed and that all stage gate deliverables are met
• Ensure that contractors deliver quality work, maintain equipment preservation, work is progressed against the schedule is maintained, and interventions are highlighted to management when required
• Develop and apply designated technical practices for controlling the quality/ safety/ environmental outcomes of construction projects
• Act as coordinator or reviewer for construction engineering related Management of Change (MoC), managing action closure and ensuring appropriate technical practices and relevant industry codes are adhered to when modifications are being made
• Acts as a leader and role model to promote robust health, safety, and environmental culture in the project community
• Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness
• Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately
• Make calculations about pressures, loads and stresses
• Other job responsibilities required by the Construction Manager

Job Requirements:

• 5 years in oil and gas; minimum 2 years of offshore construction work exp.
• Ability to make engineering decisions on time and coordination between inbound construction engineers.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English languages
• AUTOCAD and other related engineering certificates
• Ability to interact with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument and Process Engineers & Technicians
• Knowledge of engineering solutions and their application in computer programs
• Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Deep understanding of Commissioning and Completion process’s
