Job purpose:
- Cleaners are required to undertake the following duties as directed by The Club Port Baku, using the prescribed methods and frequencies in the line with the requirements of the cleaning specification.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain and observe cleanliness in the premises of the assigned premises. This includes sweeping, mopping, waxing, scrubbing and disinfecting the floors and stairs, dusting furniture, gathering trash and emptying it in the main containers, disinfecting comfort rooms and other utility rooms
- Always check if the doors are securely locked, the lights and faucets are closed and all electrical equipment are plugged out of the socket.
- Responsible for replacing consumable utilities such as toilet paper and towels when they run out.
- Placing equipment and tools back to their respective places for orderliness.
- Take care of washing cleaning implements (mops, cloth) used in cleaning process during the day.
- Be able to perform laundry attendant’s duties when necessary.
- Report any major concerns to the management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma generally required
- Experience of working in the cleaning industry.
- Knowledge of relevant standards of hygiene
- Customer service
- Able to work as a team member
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
