Caspiantech is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Examine and analyze accounting and finance data for accuracy and completeness
• Check the conformance of the reports to the local legislation and the company’s policy and procedures
• Perform tax and accounting operations
• Prepare, analyze and provide all types of statutory reports in a timely manner
• Perform reconciliation of budgets vs. actual activities
• Calculate wages and other personnel expenses
• Implement sound internal controls and regularly monitor their effectiveness
• Assist in development and review of Company Accounting Policies and Guidelines
• Prepare all accounts for internal and external audits, tax and other statutory reviews
• Assist in improvement/development of 1C accounting system
• Work closely with sales and legal departments to require fulfillment of contractual obligations
• Manage accounting department and enforce its personnel’s development
• Report to Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Experience: minimum of 3 years in the position of Chief Accountant
• Knowledge of best tax and accounting practices
• Proficiency in using MS Excel, Word; 1C experience is a must!
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and management accounting is an advantage
• Excellent Azerbaijani and English language skills, both written and verbal, working knowledge of Russian.
• Ability to work with e-government portal
