Roles & Responsibilities are as follows:
- Administrate and ensure adherence with existing Project Environmental Management Procedure
- Administrate Waste Management procedure, collect Waste Transfer Notes in accordance with Environmental Management Procedure requirements
- Collaborate with Client Environmental Engineer regarding Environmental issues as required
- Take part in Site Environmental Walkthrough sessions, collect observations and prepare close-out reports
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
- Review environmental regulations and determine or seek assistance with applicability determinations
- Report all environmental incidents, including internal spills, external releases, potential permit non-compliances, regulatory inspections, or similar incidents to plant management
- Interface with regulatory agencies, prepare required documentation, schedule any required testing, and provide additional follow-up dcumentation as required
- Support HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective Environmental policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that HSE Department objectives are met.
- Provide support to Project team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
- Support the HSE Manager in ensuring Environmental compliance and perform regular Site/ Project audits
- Attend pre-job, planning and safety meetings as required on Environmental related matters.
Minimum qualifications &experience required:
- Advanced University degree in related technical field.
- ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental MS Lead Auditor
- At least 5 years of a professional work experience at the same position. Solid work experience at international companies is preferable.
