Blue Planet Distribution LLC is announcing a vacancy of Buyer (sport division).

Blue Planet Distribution LLC is a privately owned Azerbaijan retail company headquartered in Baku with primary divisions focused in the areas of sports and luxury retail. It was founded in 2014.

Since 2014 Blue Planet Distribution LLC holds the master franchise licenses for GO SPORT, COURIR , SKECHERS and NIKE for the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the nationwide leading specialty retailer of all sports and sport lifestyle related apparel, footwear and accessories.

Since 2016 Blue Planet Distribution LLC holds the master franchise licenses for luxury brands for the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and runs multi-brand luxury stores.

Responsibilities:

• Place local and international purchase orders
• Carry out complete contract cycle, including issuance of tenders, making bidders list, inviting tenders, opening tenders, commercial evaluation, drafting contract and contract issuance
• Confirm acceptability of the suppliers’ invoices.
• Ensure timely delivery of all orders
• Handle urgent customer requests immediately
• Analyzes bids commercially and approve them.
• Make purchase decisions based on price, delivery, and suitability.
• Prepare bid tabulations and obtain engineering approvals
• Helping to interpret reports and predicting future sales
• Pitching ideas to Senior management
• Preparation of monthly report.
• Budget preparation
• Managing stock levels
• Negotiating prices, quantities and delivery time-scales
• Liaising with other employees about sales performances

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 year of experience in related sphere
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Azerbaijani and Russian
• Strong analytical skills;
• Negotiating skills and the ability to network and influence people;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Numeracy skills and proficiency using IT; (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Good organization skills and the ability to multitask;
• The ability to cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines;
