Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement;
- Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, Quotation, Tender and Request for Proposal;
- Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency;
- Work with finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting;
- Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency;
- Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes;
- Follow up potential suppliers during preparation phase of tenders and guarantee necessary secrecy during tendering phase;
- Buy materials/services on behalf of the company and its projects, optimize costs, observe requested time limits and quality standards;
- Follow up any subsequent revisions of the order;
- Ensure the accurate completion of all procurement requests to include the proper documentation of materials and cost expenditures;
- Prepare Supply contracts/modification/termination with obtaining specific contract documents/certificates;
- Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business;
- Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and best procurement practice;
- Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met;
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred;
- 3-5 year work experience as a procurement specialist in the same area required;
- Good knowledge of SAP;
- Additional certification in the field of procurement desired;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English ;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Strong knowledge of market conditions;
- Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building;
- Meeting Deadlines;
Working conditions:
- Location: Baku office;
- Work schedule: 5 days;
- Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00;
