Department: Risk Management and Compliance

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide reasonable assurance that risk management, internal control and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organization’s objectives and goals to be met.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal control policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practices.
• Communicate compliance policies and guidelines to Management and designated departments.
• Analyze and update existing compliance policies and related documentation.
• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
• Keep up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Perform compliance audits and compiling reports.
• Assist higher-level staff with follow-up, verify and evaluate the adequacy of post-audit corrective actions by re-examining procedures, observe revised processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business management, or related field.
• 3+ years’ proven experience in a compliance, internal control, business process management role.
• Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
• Highly-analytical with strong attention to details.
• Presentation skills;
• Good personal organization skills;
• Team Player;
• Language skills – Azerbaijani and English.
• Computer skills – Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel (high level), Outlook and PowerPoint).
