Leading Supply Solutions (LSS) is a leading supplier to the Oil and Gas Industries in Azerbaijan with an extensive range of consumables, equipment, tools and support products. LSS is distributor of major international brands in Azerbaijan and aims to supply only quality products at competitive prices.
The company is looking for potential candidates for Procurement Specialist. Basic tasks of Procurement Specialist specialist are indicated below:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research on current orders and building supply relationships
- Identification of suppliers and services
- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
- Negotiation with suppliers on price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods
- Making contacts with suppliers and clarifying technical specifications of ordered goods
- Creation of purchase orders, agreements and other needed documents
- Attending meetings with the legal department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company
- Working closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements
- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiated procurement partnerships
Requirements to candidate:
- More than 2 years proven experience of working as a procurement in the similar field
- Fluency in English and Russian languages (both verbal and written) are required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
- Flexible to work long hours as demanded by projects
- Able to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary
Terms:
- 6-days work week with part day Saturday.
