Main job responsibilities:

• Find out and solve Windows based system problems
• Pro-actively support and enhance operational status of IT systems
• Be responsible for the integrity of the network infrastructure
• Track and update Trouble Tickets
• Identifies the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
• Assist with onboarding of new users. Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems
• Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
• Administers e-mail and anti-virus systems.

Skills and competencies:

• Experience with relevant WAN/LAN technologies, server virtualization, storage, security technologies, and databases
• Active Directory, File Server, VMware, Qnap, Kerio Control
• Firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, FTP, internet protocols
• Hardware concepts (RAID, x86 Architecture, SCSI, ISCSI)
• Ability to make contacts and develop effective working relationships within and outside the department, maintaining a high degree
• professionalism, requiring tact and judgment to avoid friction
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously
• Azerbaijani (Fluent), Russian/English language at correspondence / communication level
