International brand hotel, located in the heart of city Staybridge Suites Baku (An IHG Hotel) is looking for Director of Sales & Marketing who is responsible for achieving a maximum productivity and activity goals, as established by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads direct reports in a manner that achieves the sales goals and holds them accountable to their essential duties and responsibilities.
• Maximizes current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth.
• Plan and implement ecommerce and internet marketing strategies.
• Promote the story of the brand and the hotel in the market, with the goal of increasing overall profitability of the property.
• Promptly follows-up on all customer needs and inquiries in an efficient and expedient manner.•
• Display a neat, clean and business-like appearance at all times.
• Monitor and evaluate trends within market segment.
• Develop a full working knowledge and policies of the hotel and sales department
• Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable.
• Perform any other duties as requested by Hotel Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5+ years of previous hotel sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani, English, Russian languages
• Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape and revenue management.
• Knowledge of general sales techniques, yield management, and customer service skills.
